There’s Got To Be More Than This For Me

Updated: Nov 23

Ever find yourself lying awake at night, scrolling through social media, wondering if there’s more to life than what you’re living? I have, so trust me, you’re not alone. Many people find themselves in the daily grind, stuck in routines that feel suffocating. It’s easy to get caught up in the cycle of work, eat, sleep, repeat, leaving little room for passion or excitement. Those dreams, visions, and goals that once lit a fire in you can feel like distant memories. But deep down, that yearning for something more is a signal. It’s a sign that it’s time to reconnect with your aspirations and start taking action. If you’ve been feeling stuck, it’s time to tap into that inner fire and start creating the life you truly want.

First things first we need a plan. So here are a few tips below to get you started!

First, Get Clear on Your Vision: First things first—grab a notebook and start jotting down what you really want. What does that ideal life look like? Maybe it’s traveling the world, starting your own business, or simply finding a job that makes you excited to wake up each day. Write it down, sketch it out—whatever helps visualize it. The clearer the vision, the easier it is to start making it happen.

Second, Take Action, One Step at a Time: You don’t have to leap into a complete overhaul of your life all at once. Start small. Someone might be stuck in a dead-end job, dreaming of launching their own clothing line. They can begin by researching fashion trends or creating sketches. Another person may be in a relationship that feels stagnant, longing for deeper connections. They can start by having honest conversations about their feelings and needs. Every little step counts; progress is progress, no matter how small.

Third, Mindset is Everything: Remember, the past doesn’t dictate the future. Let go of limiting beliefs that tell you it’s too late or that you’re not good enough. Everyone has faced challenges, but those challenges can be fuel. Use your story as motivation to push forward.

The Fourth & Final Tip, Find Your Tribe: Surround yourself with people who uplift and inspire. Whether it’s friends, family, or online communities, having a support system helps keep the momentum going. They can encourage you when the going gets tough.

So, if you’re feeling that “There’s got to be more than this for me,” you’re absolutely right—there is! Embrace your dreams, take action, and start building the life you truly deserve. It’s time to take control and make it happen! Keep this scripture close to your heart: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” —Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
