Have you ever wondered, “What is my purpose?” Or even thought, “I don’t want to miss out on my purpose”? Well, you’re not alone. Many of us ask and wonder the same thing. Let me assure you that when you allow God to lead your life, He will guide you to your purpose and through it. You will not miss it.
When God calls us to something, He has already gone ahead of us and made provision for it. He always equips us with what we need for the purpose He has placed in us. Yes, the unknown journey can be scary, but Jeremiah 29:11 is very clear: “I know the plans that I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” So let that settle you. We may think we are lost at times or don’t quite understand, but God’s Protective Services (GPS) will always be there to protect, enlighten, and reroute us if necessary. He is our guide and will never leave us destitute.
When I was a little girl, maybe five or six, I remember going to the fair with my family. At one point during the night, I was watching a family member play one of the games, and when I looked up, I was alone. Yep! I was now lost at the fair. Scary, right? Well, somehow I knew to find a friendly face, which happened to be a police officer. I walked up to her and told her I was lost. She then got on her radio to report a missing child, and shortly after that, my family walked up. I was back where I belonged.
I believe that in the same way God guided me to the police officer, He will do the same for you while you are moving toward your purpose. Every mistake, wrong turn, and bad decision we make has already been accounted for; He is not surprised. We are never too lost for Him to find us, and the GPS will reroute us and guide us to our purpose.
The same God who put the purpose in you will guide you to fulfill it.

This is very relevant and happens more than we realize. I think it’s more prevalent when certain events take place in our lives and we find ourselves as the “last man standing.” This is when we ask, why am I here and not so and so? We realize then that by the grace of God we are still here to fulfil a purpose that only he knows. It is up to us to live according to His will and we will realize and understand our purpose.
As someone who struggles with finding their purpose, I fully understand this. I find myself to be stubborn and hardheaded when it comes to obedience to GOD at times. I want to hear his voice clearly and see the signs without blurred vision. I just need to have a little more faith and just step out. The when has to be so clear to me so that I may win in the end.
This was an easy read to interpret and extremely relatable. It reminded me that even when I’m lost as an adult, not to panick and that it’s okay to ask for help and lean on your support.
What I enjoyed most while reading this, is how Ms. Simpson made this relatable with spirituality. There's nothing that provides the best guidance and examples for those that are searching or need help as we navigate thru life, is hearing testimony that aligns with Gospel. Thank you Ms. Simpson.
This is very relatable and still acknowledging the human factor. We are not perfect, but perfectly made.
